From the earliest age, hockey can help kids learn teamwork, discipline, patience and restraint. And to help ensure they remain safe on the ice, we're applying our own experience with safety and innovation to our Safe & Fun hockey program. If your child was born in 2007, and registered in a Canadian minor hockey league, they are eligible to receive a free Bauer helmet from Chevrolet. While the program officially launches this August of 2012, you can pre-register now and stay up to date with important notifications and information.

The road to hockey fame and fortune is long, but thanks to the Chevrolet Volt Million Dollar Shootout, there’s a shortcut. With over 26 million entries, this year was record setting for the Million Dollar Shootout Contest. It was Barry Kazimer of Campbell River, BC, who shone at centre ice this past New Year’s Eve and drove away in a brand new Chevrolet VOLT – the planet’s first electric vehicle with an extended range.

Every athlete needs a coach in their corner - especially if they plan on winning gold at the Olympics. Without the necessary assistance, the dream is only a dream. Making Dreams Possible is a partnership between Chevrolet and the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) that supplies coaches with the funding and support they need to help Canadian athletes reach their full potential and compete for a place on the podium.
